How the Law and Community Shaped Jeffrey A. Nemecek’s Work

Throughout his career, Jeff Nemecek has gained experience as a bond counsel and as an underwriters’ counsel, and he has had a hand in more than $5 billion in closed public financing transactions so far, covering 21 states, in all. Among the projects wherein Jeffrey Nemecek has played a role have included infrastructure project, like solid waste and resource recovery facilities, water and sewer facilities, airports and hydroelectric facilities, as well as hospitals, schools, courthouses, correctional facilities and facilities for non-profits, to help them improve the communities in which he operates.

Jeffrey Nemecek began his legal career by ensuring that he had all the education he needed. He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in 1970 with a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School in 1974. He did the work to become admitted to practice in Alabama, New York, Minnesota, Florida in and New Jersey between 1975 and 1989. Overall, Jeffrey has more nearly four decades’ experience in the practice of law, with most of that coming in the areas of public and project financing.
